Great video! I’m just starting to get into Ultra Running and loved all the tips. My 1st ever 50k trail run got postponed so I ran it anyway on my own, so I got a kick out of your No Barkley Barkley video too! Thanks for sharing!

Hi John,Some good little tips, I’m positive I read an article recently where you mentioned that you had done a lot of reading on positive thinking / mental training. Could you point me in the direction of the books you read please?

Glad you got something from the tips, but unfortunately I believe you might be thinking of someone else on the books. I haven’t had time to pick up a book in years outside of a few directly related to a race or event I was about to do.

good tips, especially around customising the pack and holding the poles on the bottom loops temporarily. I often moan at the [what are they called?] pockets with no bottoms, intended for the bottle straws.. never thought to stitch ’em closed. and the hair band loop around the bottle – good shout
